It is no doubt that the Nissan Skyline R33 is one of our favorites to import here at JDM Sport Classics. We pride ourselves with bringing in some of the cleanest and unique examples available, and this vehicle is no exception. This R33 is a Series 2.5, Type M, 40th Anniversary edition Skyline to pay homage to Nissan for 4 decades of the Skyline name! Some fun facts about the Series 2.5 GTS25T Type M, only 5,294 were produced in total. Of the 5,294 Series 2.5 produced only 1,163 were the Type M 40th Anniversary edition. Lastly of the 1,163 Series 2.5 GTS25T Type M 40th Anniversary produced , only 484 received the combination of 5 speed manual, coupe and finished in QM1 (Cloud White). Making this a fun and collectible JDM legend.
On the exterior, this 40th anniversary Skyline features one of the most favored colors, Cloud White. This color has been a fan favorite on many of the R33’s, and can be seen as the production numbers of this code vs other colors. The QM1 Color Code also compliment the sleek body lines of this example extremely well, especially when paired with the Type M Aero, as seen on this example!
This GTS25T is powered by the well know RB25DET, a turbocharged inline six engine, which produces 250 horsepower. This power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five speed manual transmission, which gives the driver a more active experience while behind the wheel.
As this is a 40th anniversary model of the R33, there are a few limited edition additional extras which include the 40th anniversary emblems on the front seats, later spec RB25DET engine with an R34 camshaft angle sensor.
