The KZJ78 Prado is one of the most sought after mid size SUVs of its era. Featuring a unique and iconic boxy body style, powered by a reliable inline 4 cylinder turbo diesel motor, and utilizing a selectable 4WD drivetrain, these Prado’s are practically bulletproof and look amazing.
This Prado is surely no exception, found in a Custom Deep Blue paint with many aesthetic and functional upgrades. Outlining all four doors are paint matched rivets that give this Cruiser a more rugged look that follows the previous owners vision of an off-road theme. Found at the rear of the vehicle is an aftermarket steel rear bumper that further enhances not only the looks of the vehicle, but also the safety of its passengers. This example also has an aftermarket lift kit installed that gives it more clearance for off road use, or a more aggressive on road stance.
The interior of this KZJ78 still has seating for all eight passengers that has been upgraded since the factory. The drivers seat has been upgraded with an aftermarket Recaro that provides more bolster and support for the driver, while maintaining all of the comfort of the stock seat. Additionally, all of the other seats have been protected with leather fitted seat covers. The OEM steering wheel was also replaced with an upgraded wood grain Nardi wheel, as was quite common at the time of production. Factory features include a power sunroof, power adjusting mirrors, electronically selectable 4WD, selectable transfer case, power windows, idle up control and remote start on the key fob.
