The MKIV Toyota Supra is arguably the most recognizable car to come out of the ’90s. Road worthy examples were originally introduced in 1993 with pre-production test models being designed in late-1990. This example was an earlier production, coming off of the assembly line of the Motomachi Plant in October of 1993. The Supra came in many different trim levels that featured different options, with the RZ-S being the top trim. The RZ featured a Twin-Turbo 2JZ-GTE which produced “276hp” to the rear wheels, which can be easily modified to make much more power. It did this through a Getrag V160 6-speed manual transmission, which can handle upwards of 700-800 hp without modification.
This example features almost no aftermarket modification with the only notable exception being the aftermarket Stern wheels. We put 4 brand new Cooper tires onto this Supra, as well as a new Clutch Masters clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and throw-out bearing, ensuring that this will be a ready to drive vehicle upon delivery. The exterior condition of this Supra is incredibly clean, showing no signs of wear or damage to the paint. The 3L2 Renaissance Red paint on this Supra makes it 1 of 85 six-speed examples made in 1993. The interior condition is also near immaculate, with the only noticeable flaw being the unfortunately common dashboard lift of the JZA80 model Supras. The front cloth seats show no tears or stains, and the rear leather seat has no cracking or tearing of the stitching.
With low mileage and incredible overall condition, this Supra has definitely earned the status of unicorn. Supra models continue to rise in price yearly, making them harder and harder to find in decent condition. In one of the most sought after configurations, (Twin-turbo, six-speed manual, RHD, iconic color), this Supra is truly a time piece for a collector, the start of an incredible build, or a Sunday show stopper.
