The Nissan Pulsar GTi-R is an SR20DET powered AWD hatchback that was produced by Nissan to meet the requirements for entry into World Rallycross. 227hp in a lightweight AWD chassis allowed it to out perform supercars of the era. Less than 15,000 units were produced making it desirable and rare. Only 127 units where produced in the Color code TJ1 Gray Graphite Pearl in 1993, making this not only a rare car but a very rare factory color.

The body is largely the same as the standard N14 three-door model, but distinguished by the large rear wing and bonnet scoop. It has an ATTESA all wheel drive system and a unique variant (coded 54C) of the SR20DET engine. With a power to weight ratio of 0.083 and AWD, the standard GTI-R is able to accelerate from 0-100KMH in 5.4 seconds, cover the standing quarter mile in 13.5 seconds, and reach a top speed of 232 km/h (144 mph).

Known as “Baby Godzilla” the GTI-R is one of the most iconic sports cars of the 90s. It’s fair to say that this is one of the last of a dying breed. With a total production of only 15,000 units ever made these have become so scarce in Japan that it’s hard to see many more of these making it to the United States.

There is a tear in the drivers side seat that should be noted, but otherwise this is as good as it get’s for AWD JDM Legend and the lucky new owner will have a true piece of JDM automotive history.
